No Pets

In consideration of other current and future guests, we regret that we are unable to accommodate any pets at this time. If you bring a pet into The Lodge you will be charged a $150 cleaning fee. Depending on the severity (includes bringing pets onto decks of lodge), you may be required to vacate the premises immediately. No refunds will be issued. Please respect our facility by calling us for a referral to a local boarding kennel or making alternative arrangements.

No Smoking Policy

The Lodge at Service Creek is a nonsmoking facility. If you need to smoke, please use the designated smoking areas outside. If you smoke in a nonsmoking room, your credit card will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $250. Please respect our facility and future guests by not smoking in your room. We are doing our best to offer the cleanest, freshest rooms possible to all of our guests. Thank you for your help in reaching this goal by not smoking indoors at our facilities.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Lodging Reservations

A valid credit card will be required to make a reservation. The deposit is $25.00 per room and is due at the time of the reservation in order to secure the accommodation and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellations less than fourteen (14) calendar days during the months of May through July, will require the full amount be paid. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than fourteen (14) calendar days of the reservation. See Travel Insurance section for more information for ways to ensure you receive a full refund in the event of an emergency or other situation. River Equipment Rentals

A valid credit card will be required to make a reservation. 1/2 of the total raft rental is due at time of reservation in order to secure the accommodation and is NON-REFUNDABLE. During the months of May through June, the remainder of the amount due is required to be paid within thirty (30) days prior to arrival. For all other reservations that fall outside of the May and June time periods, the final payment will be due on the day of the trip. The credit card used to secure the reservation will be used to complete the transaction unless otherwise specified. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than thirty (30) days. Failure to meet payment deadlines will result in forfeit of the reservation. There is a $50.00 fee to reschedule raft
reservation dates in the same season.

In the event that the river is not suitable for float trips, it is at the discretion of the Service Creek Lodge, LLC’s management staff to refuse to rent river equipment even it it has been previously reserved and/or paid for. In the event that this occurs, the entire amount paid to Service Creek Lodge, LLC will be refunded. If you have made a reservation to rent river equipment, it is your responsibility to contact Service Creek Lodge, LLC to check on the status of the river prior to arrival to see if your plans may be impacted by the river conditions.

Any lost or excessively damaged equipment that is rented from Service Creek, LLC will be the responsibility of the renter. Damages will be assessed and the credit card used to secure the rental will be charged.

In the event that a scheduled time to retrieve rented equipment is missed, fees will be assessed in the following manner.
•First 1/2 hour - free (grace period)
•1/2 hour to 1 hour after scheduled pickup time - $50.00
• Every hour there after the scheduled pick up time - $75.00

Late charges will be charged to the credit card used to secure the rental.

River Shuttles

A valid credit card will be required to make all reservations. Payment for river shuttle(s) is due on the day of the scheduled river shuttle. The credit card used to secure the reservation will be used to complete the transaction unless otherwise specified. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than twenty-four (24) hours.

Additional fees and or charges may apply if gas or other equipment is required to assist in the transport of your vehicle during the shuttle process. A minimum $30.00 charge will apply which includes five (5) gallons of gas and service fee. All applicable charges will be charged to the credit card provided during the time of the reservation. In order to prevent these circumstances from occurring, we ask that you check to make sure your vehicle is in proper working order, has adequate fuel to not only get your vehicle to the take out destination, but to another fuel station and has adequate levels of coolant. If basic services are required to transport your vehicle (such as providing gas or coolant), Service Creek Lodge, LLC will charge the total costs and associated service fees to the credit card used to secure the shuttle. Vehicles that have issues beyond basic services will not be transported.

We ask that you notify Service Creek Lodge, LLC of any issues with your vehicle before it is transported. This information will be communicated to the person assigned to shuttle your vehicle.

Travel Insurance

Even the best planned vacation can be interrupted due to illness, inclement weather, or other personal circumstances. Optional travel insurance can be included with your reservation at the time of booking and includes every insurance plan includes AIG Travel Assist's 24-hour "911" travel emergency service for emergency medical assistance, last-minute or emergency travel and flight changes, lost luggage tracking, pre-trip travel advice and more. Travel insurance is non-refundable once it has been purchased. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance; as we are unable to vary from our cancellation policies. The travel insurance premium equals 7% of lodging, tax and fees, raft rental, and/or river shuttle total and is due at the time of booking in addition to initial deposit. Premiums are already included in the total cost. If you are not interested in purchasing travel insurance, you may elect to opt out of it during the time you book your reservation with us. You may not purchase travel insurance after your reservation has been made.

Travel insurance is not available for river equipment rentals and/or river shuttles, unless lodging accommodations are purchased. For more information, please see the Travel Guard section.

The Lodge: Check In and Check Out Information

Lodge guests may check in at 3:00 PM. Check in at the Service Creek Restaurant. Check out time is at 11:00 AM.

Thank you for being courteous to the guests preceding and following you by honoring the check-in/check-out times. Late departures are subject to an additional night's charge unless a later check-out time has been authorized by management. Check out at the Service Creek Restaurant.

Trash Service Fee

Service Creek is responsible for performing all sanitation services for the premises. (In other words, we have to haul all our trash to the nearest garbage dump that is 40 miles round trip.) Excess garbage will result in additional fees to cover the cost of transportation and disposal.

Additional People

Due to fire regulations, The Lodge rooms cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. For more information, please contact the management staff at Service Creek Lodge, LLC.

Internet Access Policy

Service Creek proudly offers complimentary wireless, high-speed Internet access to our lodge guests. Access to the Internet is not filtered or censored.

Choosing and Evaluating Sources

Service Creek Lodge, LLC does not control the information on the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. Users are encouraged to exercise critical judgment when using this resource and are cautioned that all Internet transactions are vulnerable to unauthorized access.

Child Safety

Service Creek Lodge, LLC supports parents in their efforts to guide their children's access to information. Restriction of a child's access to the Internet is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian. Children who use the Internet unsupervised may be exposed to inappropriate or disturbing information and images. We recommend that children under the age of 10 be accompanied by an adult while using the Internet at Service Creek Lodge, LLC.
